Assignment 1: Sound Ecology

Based on the reference cases provided by the course learning and listening list over the past two weeks, I will combine sound ecology and Soundwalking to record the forgotten islands in Sydney city, Cockatoo Island.

From the mid-19th century to the present day, this island has undergone multiple changes, and its purpose has also undergone multiple transformations. From the historical relics left on the island, it can be seen that it was once Convict penal establishment，Educational institutions，Working harbour and industry Wait. I will carry recording equipment to explore this island and record the sounds emitted from various areas on the island.
